about ana

… highly experienced and passionate about creating beautiful and unique places that are a healthy and inclusive part of their local community, culture and environment.

I am an award winning landscape architect, artist, urban designer, project manager, and photographer. I dabble in web and graphic design. I love strength and functional training, calisthenics, dance dance revolution, and long walks.

I am deeply committed to making better places – places that are a healthy part of their local community, culture and ecosystem. I have a strong interest in art and its integration in the landscape. I absolutely love what I do and work on projects of all sizes and levels of complexity.

I work primarily on large scale public sector projects. Over the years I have worked on a wide variety of projects for local municipalities, private residences, property developers, and not-for-profit organisations. I have completed landscape designs and master plans for large public parks, playgrounds, creeks and wetlands, residential subdivisions and streetscapes, and I have managed all stages of building and infrastructure works. I work on all aspects of a project, from feasibility study and scoping, all stages of cost planning, concept design and design management, procurement, contract management, and construction management. For some sites I am the lead designer, and for others I manage teams of professionals.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 2006, receiving Dean’s Honours. I am registered with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA, since 2007), and am a part-time member of the AILA environment subcommittee. I am part way through Master of Construction Management.
